School
I started in 1992 as a real "PREPA" because I never went out of my house. My geek look didn't help me much.
I became member of the Ponce High Chorus and for six years I was member. Most people found trouble in the school, but the Choir kept me out of that world.
I spent time playing spanish cards "briscas". My favorite subject was math, helping other students in my classroom, and my worst was english, because I didn't speak or understand it, except for written. I graduated in 1995 with honors of Ponce High with my good choir friends. Almost two years ago, the school was reopen as historical monument and the Ponce High Chorus was called to duty. I was one of the first to set foot in the reopening. Last year I returned to become member of the Coro de Exalumnos de la Ponce High (Alumni Choir), celebrating 100 year of chorus.
College

I spent my first years playing Magic the Gathering and traveling to Ponce to sing with Ponce High Chorus and other musical groups. I participated of the Christmas Opening of Plaza del Caribe every year, after Thanksgiving Day. I celebrated parrandas, Justas and Beach activities every year.
I became member of the String Orchestra of Mayaguez for two years, then after my brother came into the Campus, I changed to the University Choir of Mayaguez. When my two brothers were already studying in Mayaguez, we started the party: movies, BBQ's, Magic tournaments, study groups.
On my last year, I started working in the Student Center during the weekends. That year, I visited my family and friends in Ponce about 2 or 3 times.
The job in the Student Center was my first job experience and a good one. I learned how to deal with people: public relations.
I graduated in 2000. We celebrated an activity for the three guys graduating during that year. We founded the AB-RUM (Asociacion de Borrachones del Recinto Universitario de Mayaguez).
